Kia ora Liam, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWell done for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post about Air Rescue.
Air Rescue helps to save many people across the West Coast and Canterbury regions. Did you know in order to maintain this life-saving service, the Rescue Helicopter Trust needs to raise at least $4.7 million dollars a year!
What are some ways you think Air Rescue could fundraise to help raise more money?
I was thinking a mufti day at school, or a sausage sizzle at lunchtime would help raise some money for this amazing organisation. It may not seem like a lot of money at first compared to the $4.7 million dollars needed, but every dollar counts!
Has there ever been a time where you had to save up for something you wanted? If so, when?
It would be great if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
Quick Tip- Perhaps you could edit your blog post and insert an image from the Air Rescue photo gallery.
This would add a lovely pop of colour to your post, whilst also reiterating who your blog post is about, and what they do!
